Jens represents the HPC Supply Chain Innovation Lab at Politecnico di Milano (PoliMi)

Prof. Dr. Jens Roehrich visited Politecnico di Milano (PoliMi) to discuss and present research conducted by the HPC Supply Chain Innovation Lab. During his stay he worked with PoliMi’s Master students to explore the triple constrain of project management and with PoliMi colleagues to discuss the art of writing impactful teaching cases. Jens also promoted the two award-winning teaching cases written by the HPC Supply Chain Innovation Lab. The cases explore two crucial supply chain and project decisions, namely supplier selection with a focus on local SMEs and the development of capabilities for smaller firms. The presentation was well received and both teaching cases will be featured in future teaching programmes. Jens also presented research conducted in the HPC Supply Chain Innovation Lab and shared insights from the Lab’s current research programme. Finally, he presented a new contracting research study focusing on the customisation of standard contract templates and how organisation’s internal knowledge is combined with external industry knowledge for the process of customisation.
