HPC Supply Chain Innovation Lab members nominated for the Chris Voss Best Paper Award at the 2020 European Operations Management Association (EurOMA) conference

HPC Supply Chain Innovation Lab director and researchers participated in the 27th Annual Conference of European Operations Management Association (EurOMA) which took place between (29th-30th June) online. A paper co-authored by Dr Mehrnoush Sarafan, Dr Benn Lawson (University of Cambridge), Prof Jens Prof Jens Roehrich and Prof Brian Squire was selected as a runner up for Chris Voss Best paper Award in this year’s conference. The paper focuses on the issue of knowledge sharing in supply networks of complex projects and investigates the role of incentive structures and governance mechanisms in facilitating gatekeepers’ knowledge sharing motivation. As part of the conference, Dr Sarafan presented this research in a well-attended (more than 100 operations and supply chain academics) session. The presentation followed by an interactive discussion on potential implications of the research for research and practice.
